Supporting Homeschooling, in grades 5-12 with weekly classes.
Good Company Tutorials Our History, Our People, Our Mission
Good Company Tutorials began with five classes in 2003 and is a ministry currently serving over 100 home-school families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Its goal is to provide students in grades 5-12 the option to have some of their classes outside the home in a Christian environment. Desiring to help homeschool families supplement what they do at home, we attempt to provide a healthy social environment, a challenging academic atmosphere, and an opportunity to take courses that may be a little difficult to manage one-on-one at home. With a little help, hopefully it will become more feasible for parents to continue to homeschool through the middle and high school years. Registration is done over the summer, and students have the option to take a single class, a few, or do most of their classes in this setting.Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from September to May at: New Covenant Christian Fellowship
I was very blessed by the dedicated tutors, and the highly academic quality of their classes. The Writing, Public Speaking, Apologetics, College-Prep, Choir, and Debate classes, (and more!), definitely prepared me well for college writing, debate, choir, discipleship, and leadership roles. ~ JV, Weymouth, MA
"Having just completed our fifth year of driving a two and a half hour weekly round trip for the classes at Good Company Tutorials, I can wholeheartedly say that they have been completely worth the investment of time and effort. The tutors at GCT are engaging, dedicated, and excellent. Through their teaching, our son has grown not only academically but also in his work and study skills, preparing him well for his upcoming college education." ~ LM Cape Cod, MA
"How could I have gotten through homeschooling in High School without the excellence, the tutors, all the love of truth and grace in all GCT is..." ~ MC, North Kingstown, RI
